Dr. Nithin Venepally

I was born in rural South India in the state of Telangana. After graduating with an MBBS degree from Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, for my passion for evidence-based medicine and clinical research, I accepted a position as a Research Fellow in the department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Arizona. After spending a year at Mayo clinic, I moved to Texas for an Internal Medicine residency at Texas Tech University of Health Sciences Center at Permian Basin. I have been awarded the position of resident chief of research, quality improvement, and patient care for the academic year 2021-2022 at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Permian Basin. My area of interest is transforming medical education, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology. I have published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences such as American Heart Association and European Society Cardiology. I am excited to contribute towards technological advances in medical education, research, and patient care.
