Sarah Kiani

I am a physician educator who is passionate about innovation. After years of clinical research and successful quality improvement projects targeted towards improving healthcare delivery, I recently embarked upon a new journey with the Texas Tech Innovation Hub in the role of the CEO of a medical education software start-up. Strategic planning focused around the ‘value proposition’ has enabled me to perceive challenges in a new light. As the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine residency program, I have made it my mission to pass on the valuable insights I learnt from my experience with entrepreneurship to foster career development of the post-graduate residency trainees. Dr. Venepally and I are exciting to use the Business Model Canvas and Lean Launch Pad as the foundation of a new course to empower residents to strategically plan their personalized career development plan.
