Wendy Chen

Wendy Chen is an Assistant Professor of public administration in the Department of Political Science at Texas Tech University. With a background in public management and policy, Wendy’s scholarly interests lie in social entrepreneurship, corporate philanthropy, nonprofit management, sustainable economic development, and public policy. Being an entrepreneur herself, she strives to incorporate innovation and culture of entrepreneurship in her classes. Currently, she is teaching the Social Entrepreneurship course. Prior to Texas Tech, she was also an entrepreneurship program manager for a large public university where she developed courses, organized workshops, and provided mentorship to increase students’ interests and success in entrepreneurship and innovation.
