Jared Allen is an experienced entrepreneur and professor of entrepreneurship with a deep focus on the psychology of entrepreneurial decision-making, particularly in the context of failure and pivoting. Having previously launched and managed ventures, Jared brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges entrepreneurs face, including navigating market uncertainty, managing resource constraints, and the critical role of innovation in venture success. With a background in psychology, marketing and sales, Jared integrates these practical experiences with academic research, exploring how entrepreneurs make strategic decisions, manage adversity, and leverage change (pivots) to develop and grow ventures. This expertise is shared with students, where Jared fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, helping students identify opportunities and navigate change in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
