Rachel Greene started her firm, Greene IP, to help innovators establish and execute effective IP strategies tailored for their technology. Her firm supports clients in the oil and gas, mining, cybersecurity, medical device, software, AI, and industrial safety industries. The firm specializes in helping clients with freedom to operate analysis, agreement negotiation, and intellectual property asset development including patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. Her expertise is forged by several years in private practice at two premium intellectual property law firms and 13 years in SLB’s research and product development legal teams. Before law school, she worked as a process development engineer for BASF. Rachel’s education includes a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Her commitment to community service was established during her childhood in Ponca City, OK and is exhibited by her commitment to local organizations and her church. She is currently serving a two year term on the board of directors of the Houston Intellectual Property Lawyers Association and a three year term on the board of directors of the Fort Bend County Chamber of Commerce. Rachel is excited to be helping with the Texas Tech University Innovation Hub at Research Park, in part, because it’s close to her family’s second home in Snyder, TX.
