Practicing attorney and Brigadier General in U.S. Army Reserve. Currently, Commander, 104th Division (Leader Training) and U.S. Army Cadet Command, Deputy Commanding General, Army Reserve Support and Accessions. Command at the Brigade, Battalion, and Company level, as well deployments to Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Graduate of the Defense Strategy Course, the U.S. Army War College, and the Joint Forces College Advanced Joint Professional Military Education program.

Holds a BS in Economics from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, a MS in Business (Finance) from Texas Tech University, a JD from the Texas Tech University School of Law, and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
