Mr. High helps organizations exploit technology and innovation for business value. He coaches Chief Information Officers and Chief Technology Officers on growth, profitability, strategy and digital business. He helps executives lower costs, increase leadership and reduce risk. Prior to Gartner, Mr. High was CIO & VP of IT core services at Argonaut Group, an international specialty commercial insurance company. He served as Chief Security Officer for Argonaut Group and CIO of Argonaut Insurance Co. He was the interim CIO of a regional financial services firm. He consulted for Procter & Gamble, Cardinal Health, BASF, Aim Mutual Funds, Van Kampen/American Capital, Texas Department of Human Services, the Texas Department of Information Resources, Keane, Oberthur Gaming Technologies.

Mr. High is a serial investor helping launch two de novo banks, a real estate consortium, and more than a dozen private equity projects including DropBox, DocuSign, Redfin, Bonobos, and SpaceX.
