Sarah Simpson is a licensed U.S. patent and trademark attorney. For over ten years, Sarah practiced with a law firm where she focused her practice on patent prosecution, trademark registration and prosecution, copyright registration, and various other intellectual property matters. Sarah started Simpson Trademark Law, PLLC, in 2020, where she focuses on helping startups and established businesses protect their intellectual property. From working with large multinational corporations to new startups, Sarah has experience working with a wide range of businesses in a broad array of fields including healthcare, life sciences, restaurants, vineyards and wineries, oil and gas, agriculture, construction, alcoholic beverages, retail, banking, and many others. Sarah has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of trademark and patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Sarah received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 2007, graduating magna cum laude, and she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2010, graduating magna cum laude. Sarah has been named by Super Lawyers as a Texas Rising Star multiple years in a row. One of her proudest legal accomplishments was serving as the Victim Outreach Coordinator and helping secure the first posthumous DNA exoneration in the state of Texas for Mr. Timothy Brian Cole in 2009.
