Steve Warren is the President of the Community Foundation of West Texas. His responsibilities include working with the Board and its committees to develop goals and strategies. He administers Foundation programs, supervises operations, and maintains compliance with National Standards for Community Foundations. He is also responsible for the development of Foundation assets, establishing relationships with a broad spectrum of current and potential donors, financial advisors, civic groups, nonprofit organizations, and other foundations.

Steve collaborates with the Investment Committee to oversee the financial management of assets, maintain appropriate investment policies, and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations. Prior to his role at the Community Foundation of West Texas, Steve acted as the Development Director for the Texas Boys Ranch.

Steve has a long history of working with stakeholders to develop resources and raise funding. Steve is an active member of the Lubbock community and has been in West Texas since 1982. Steve is married to Terri, his wife of 38 years. He has 3 children born and raised in Lubbock. His hobbies include sculpture, photography, videography, writing, and riding motorcycles. He also is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
