Undergraduate Commercialization Poster Competition

Want to win money for your research project or startup idea? We have an exciting opportunity for you as an undergraduate student. This year, the Undergraduate Research Conference is launching a brand-new competition specifically for undergraduates with research or startup ideas that show the commercial potential.

What's in it for you:

• $1,000 award just for being selected as one of the five winners!
• A FREE one-year membership to the Texas Tech Innovation Hub.
• An invitation to apply for the JumpStart Award, which has $14,500 available to support undergraduates to further their commercialization of their ideas.

How to apply:

1. Submit your application for the Commercialization Poster Contest through our application portal. We are not accepting applications at this time.
2. All submissions will be reviewed, and the top 10 will be selected to present their posters.
3. If selected, you'll receive a poster template, and the URC team will help you put it together—easy process!
4. The poster session will be held on April 1st at 10:00 AM- 12:30 PM in the Texas Tech University Museum. You’ll just need to stand by your poster and talk to the judges.
5. Winners will be announced on April 11th at the Texas Tech Accelerator Awards Party!
