Manage Your Mood is a four-week life skills group designed to address mild depression,
excessive worry, and anxiety by giving tools needed for healthier outcomes. Manage
Your Mood emphasizes mindfulness techniques, healthy emotion management, coping with
situations which seem overwhelming and interacting with others in a more effective
manner. These concepts guide weekly interventions.
Manage Your Mood meets weekly throughout the academic year. To get started, go to
the SCC Walk-In Clinic hours and ask your initial assessment counselor about Manage
Your Mood. You can also access Manage Your Mood Online to watch videos of each session.
