Ways to Reduce Stress
- Exercise several times a week to burn off anxious energy
- Eat well-balanced nutritional meals and avoid processed foods
- Keep a regular sleep schedule by going to bed at the same time each night, waking at approximately the same time, and ensuring at least 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep
- Take a long bath or shower
- Read an enjoyable book or flip through a favorite magazine
- Listen to relaxing music
- Plan time with friends or family
- Take a pet for a walk
- Schedule a massage
- Take a yoga/meditation class
