About Me
Joshua Rowe is an Associate Professor of Anatomy. He grew up in rural Tennessee and became interested in the veterinary profession while working with his grandfather, who raised purebred Limousin cattle. While completing veterinary school at the University of Tennessee, he became interested in anatomy education and subsequently stayed to complete a PhD in Comparative and Experimental Medicine focused on molecular imaging and comparative anatomy.
Instruction
His teaching focuses broadly on veterinary anatomy, which he previously taught at Kansas State and Lincoln Memorial Universities before joining TTUSVM
Research
His research interests include novel applications of molecular imaging in veterinary species and methods of tissue preservation but have more recently focused on various aspects of veterinary and anatomy education.
Service
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Veterinary Anatomists, the World Association of Veterinary Anatomists, the American Association for Anatomy, and the International Association of Medical Science Educators.
