Paid Tour Guide

The Paid Tour Guide leads tours of our campus for prospective students and families that provide accurate and pertinent information about Texas Tech. The Paid Tour Guide conducts multiple campus tours throughout the week to help accommodate visitors to campus. The Paid Tour Guide will greet guests to West Hall, assist with regularly scheduled daily campus visits, and assist the Visitors Center staff in preparing for on-campus recruitment events. The Paid Tour Guide is energetic, comfortable in front of crowds, a great public speaker, and willing to contribute to the Visitors Center in whatever ways they are needed.

Visitors Center Student Assistant


The Visitors Center Student Assistant is a critical part of the Visitors Center staff. The student is expected to provide excellent customer service to our visitors. The Student Assistant is responsible for greeting guests to West Hall, providing guidance and directions for visitors, assisting with regularly scheduled daily campus visits, answering the Visitors Center phone, providing accurate and up-to-date information to callers and visitors, and assisting the Visitors Center team with on-campus recruitment events. The Student Assistant is courteous, helpful, polite, energetic, and willing to contribute to the Visitors Center in whatever ways they are needed.
