My name is Kristi Bloomquist and I am from Fort Stockton, TX, and a graduate of Angelo State University.  I have two degrees from ASU: a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish and a Master of Education in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education.  Previously, I have worked at Angelo State and the University of Texas at Tyler in various capacities.  I have always enjoyed working with students and helping them to reach their goals. 

I have been an Academic Advisor at Texas Tech since March 2019.  I am enjoying getting to know Lubbock and Texas Tech!  I currently work as an advisor the for the Pre Law program. I also work with students exploring majors.  In my free time, I like walking with my dog Vallie, knitting, baking, reading, and watching movies and TV.  I look forward to working with all new and current Red Raiders!
