It makes sense sometimes to take a class back home at a local community college during the summer. If you plan to take a class at another institution, check that the course transfers in as the course you need on your degree plan.  Use this website to help with that. Also make certain to check with your academic advisor before you register for classes to ensure all the details are correct.  Once you complete a course at another institution, have them send the transcript electronically to us so you get credit for it.
