The Excellence in Meat Science Scholarship Endowment was established in 1985 by 1984 and 1985 Texas Tech Meat Science Association members and the Excel Corporation"s Plainview, Texas plant to provide support for the various segments of the meat science program, the Meat Judging Team and team member support, and research.
