Nutrition Service Associates Scholarship

The Nutrition Service Associates Scholarship was established in 1992 by the Nutrition Service Associates to fund scholarships for students that have a strong interest in ruminant nutrition and/or feedlot management.  The students must be a junior with a minimum 2.5 GPA, have at least two full semesters remaining before graduation, and be actively involved in extra-curricular and leadership activities.

Nutrition Service Associates, headquartered in Hereford, Texas, is a group of fifteen professional consulting nutritionists serving the feedlot industry in the U. S and Australia. Their primary goals in developing the Nutrition Service Associates Scholarship Program are: 1) to financially contribute to the top Animal Science educational programs that are a major influence in the feedlot industry, and 2) to familiarize future industry leaders with Nutrition Service Associates and their consulting services. Many of the nutritionists on staff are Texas Tech University alumni.
