Bill Rasor Livestock Judging Scholarship

The Bill Rasor Livestock Judging Support Fund was established by Bill H. Rasor, III in 2001 to support the Livestock Judging Teams, including maintenance and operations, travel, scholarships and awards, capital outlay, food and entertainment, payroll and fringes.

Bill Rasor is a 1969 graduate of the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business with a degree in finance. He and his wife, Becky, own and operate WHR Shorthorns in Van Alstyne, Texas.

The Rasor family has been involved in the Shorthorn breed since the 1920s, when Bill's family purchased their first Shorthorn breeding stock. What began as a modest junior heifer project for the Rasor family decades ago has developed into a leading program that is dedicated to offering the best genetics and customer service possible to all segments of the Shorthorn breed. From a powerful line-up of showring champions, to one of the most dominant Shorthorn production sales in the country, the WHR prefix is renown as a symbol of quality, and WHR Shorthorns has been at the forefront of the Shorthorn industry for over two decades.
