The Katie Robinson Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established in 2010 by Richard
and Gina Robinson to provide scholarships to students in the Meats Judging program
pursuing a degree in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
Katie Robinson was killed in an automobile accident at the age of 17 the summer before
she was to begin at Texas Tech University. She was active in school and was a member
of the Field Store 4-H Club. She had been coached in meats judging by Dr. Mark Miller
and was planning on joining the Meats Judging program at Texas Tech. She was the only
child of Richard and Gina Robinson of Waller, TX.
