South Texas Scholarship Fund

The South Texas Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 by Linda Avila to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences who are from the following counties:  Kinney, Uvalde, Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, Golliad, Dewitt, Victoria, Calhoun, Aransas, Refugio, Bee, Atascosa, Frio, Zavala, Maverick, Dimmit, La Salle, McMullen, Live Oak, San Patricio, Nueces, Jim Wells, Duval, Webb, Jim Hog, Kleberg, Kennedy, Brooks, Zapata, Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Cameron.
