The Dale and Debbie Taylor Endowed Scholarship was established in 2004 by Dale and Debbie Taylor to provide scholarships to students majoring in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources with a preference to students studying meat science. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, with a preference to students who may not have an outstanding GPA but how have proven themselves worthy of a scholarship by their leadership skills, dependability and hard work.

Mr. Dale Taylor received his degree in Agricultural Education from Texas Tech University in 1973.  His wife, Debbie Taylor, received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from Texas Tech University in 1994.  They have two children:  Kacee Hogg, who received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a TEACH certification in 2002 and 2003, respectively; and Carey, who received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University in 2007. Dale is the Owner of Servco Chemical- a producer and supplier of chemical products such as cleaners, marking inks, insecticides, laundry products, and other chemicals.  The Taylors reside in Wolfforth, TX.
