The Texas Tech Ranching Heritage Memorial Scholarship was established in 2022. This
scholarship is for students with a declared major within the Department of Animal
and Food Sciences. Recipients must have leadership and academic skill as well as have
community involvement and are identified as a student who will be successful in his
or her career field. Selected students will receive a recurring scholarship for two
years beginning at the junior level. In the event that a student recipient does not
return to Texas Tech University or no longer qualifies, another qualified student
of the same classification will be selected to receive the remainder of that scholarship.
