The Texas Tech Ranching Heritage Scholarship was established in 2022. This scholarship
is for students with a declared major within the Department of Animal and Food Sciences
at the Junior or Senior level. Recipients must have leadership and academic skill
as well as have community involvement and are identified as a student who will be
successful in his or her career field. Selected students can receive a recurring scholarship
for two years if awarded beginning at the junior level. In the event that a student
recipient does not return to Texas Tech University or no longer qualifies, another
qualified student of the same classification will be selected to receive the remainder
of that scholarship.
