Established in 2004 by the Great Plains Cattle Feeders to provide scholarships to students majoring in animal science who are U.S. citizens. Preference is given to students who are Texas residents.

Established in 1994 by Mrs. Bill (Eloise) Griffin in memory of her husband to provide scholarships for Animal Science undergraduate majors with a 3.0 or higher GPA based on scholarship, leadership and financial need.

Established in 2015 by the Estate of Marilyn Harper of Anton, Texas to provide scholarships to students participating on the Meat Judging Team in their second semester of commitment to the team. Preference is given to students who show a true commitment to the team. The same students can receive the scholarship in their third semester, as long as they remain active members of the team.
