As Unit Manager in Animal and Food Sciences, Kim Cannon oversees work on all 250 of the departmental accounts, managing a departmental budget of over 4.9 million dollars. She updates and maintains the necessary paperwork and forms for an additional 200 scholarship and endowment accounts for the department and manages the logistics of hiring and evaluation for every single person in the department, which includes 20 professors, 38 staff members, 100 student assistants and almost 60 research assistants. In addition, Kim serves as the liaison between the department and COWamongus. Yet despite this tremendous workload, her work is always impeccable and timely. Moreover, she consistently demonstrates an attitude of good cheer, patience and a willingness to invest time in each person's needs as they arise. It is clear that Kim Cannon is an integral part of keeping Animal and Food Sciences running at its highest level.
