As the Building and Equipment Manager for the School of Music, Robert Farrer made invaluable contributions to the logistics of the 2016 North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial (National) Conference. This was one of the largest events ever hosted by the School of Music. Robert arranged for a great deal of additional equipment storage in the music building and handled all communication with over 40 exhibitors. He personally moved over 15 pallets from storage in the music building to the SUB, directed a large crew of student volunteers, and handled everything with precision. The result was an outstanding and widely praised experience for both conference attendees (which numbered over 1000 from the US and abroad), and exhibitors.
