Texas Tech University is transforming our approach to student success and services, collaborating campus-wide to provide coordinated and effective programs and resources for students, parents, support staff, and faculty. One of the key initiatives in this new strategic approach was the design, development, and deployment of a comprehensive, single resource for student advising, ensuring that students find a successful pathway to graduation and beyond. As a result, The Raider Success Hub was successfully launched in February 2023. Leveraging the Salesforce Engagement Product, this team worked with colleges, departments, and service units to gather input on advising needs, including staff, faculty, and students in the discovery sessions. After campus needs were synthesized into pain points and requirements, the team led visioning, planning, technical, and implementation sessions to formulate college, department, service unit, student, and advisor needs into a manageable solution to transform academic advising on our campus. Since the implementation, the team has effectively eliminated the “Tech Shuffle”, yielding fast and effective services for students, and empowering our academic and administrative student advisors. This feat was accomplished in record time, comparable to no other university that the vendor had worked with. The Raider Success Hub implementation team exemplifies the true power of collaboration and synergy within an organization. They embarked on a monumental journey to enhance both the student experience and staff satisfaction. Through their unwavering dedication and collective efforts, they not only fostered cooperation among themselves but have also significantly increased productivity and efficiency within the organization. Their remarkable achievements have improved customer service and morale while leaving an indelible mark on the entire Texas Tech community. The Raider Success Hub embodies the spirit of teamwork, innovation, and excellence that sets them apart as shining examples of success.
