Position Description | The Enterprise Security Administrator II scope of responsibility includes maintaining security for enterprise application systems, such as Exchange and/or Active Directory assignments, Banner security classes, enterprise SharePoint access, and/or other enterprise application security necessary to support business requirements. The person in this position assists in planning security for new enterprise applications, works closely with the institutions' functional coordinators for IT security to ensure proper access is granted to appropriate personnel, allowing them to successfully do their jobs while keeping enterprise data secure, and may supervise subordinates. Enterprise positions are restricted for use in central IT Division areas reporting to the institutional CIO and, as such, may interface with key IT leadership and/or functional leadership from the Texas Tech University System institutions. |
Qualifications | Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus related experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience. Applicants for this Security Sensitive Level II position will be subject to a criminal background check and must pass a drug and alcohol test after a conditional offer of employment has been extended, but before employment can be confirmed. |
