Performs advanced, specialized work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs in accomplishing archival/library work. Work is performed under minimal supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Works on special projects as assigned. May supervise staff or student assistants.  May substitute for supervisor during his/her absence.  Works on special projects as assigned.

Masters or higher level degree and three years of experience or a combination of related education and/or experience to equal nine years. Ability to learn and work with computer applications unique to libraries or archives. Excellent customer services skills.
