Qualifications | Graduation from high school; five years of safety related / research laboratory work experience OR Associate Degree in Environmental Science or related fields, three years safety related / research laboratory work experience OR Bachelors Degree in chemistry, biology, or industrial hygiene, one year of safety related / research laboratory work experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to plan and evaluate safety and health programs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. |
