Performs manual work in the operation of heavy, medium, and light mobile equipment, and the maintenance of all such equipment used in the Grounds Maintenance Department. May act as crew leader in the absence of the foreman. Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all employees.

Eighth grade education or equivalent plus three years related experience including some in the campus Grounds Maintenance Dept.   Commercial drivers license or willingness to obtain such a license.  Additional job related experience may substitute on a year-by-year basis for required education as long as applicant possesses desired written skills.
