Leads and manages a team contributing to the advancement of institutional student success, academic advising, and retention initiatives. Supervises and evaluates success personnel including professional coaches and academic advisors. Performs complex personal life coaching, resource identification and referral, professional development, and training with individuals and groups. Responsibilities also include analyzing and reporting on special and/or complex problems, which may involve scholarly research, publication, and presentations. Performance is based on overall program results obtained and individual effectiveness. Work is performed under minimal supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Student Success Manager position is currently restricted to the Student Success and Retention office.
