Analyze and coordinate student records. Guide students in their academic career to achieve both short term and long term goals based on their abilities and interests.

Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law, campus policies and administrative regulations. Advise individuals to help them understand personal, social or behavioral issues affecting their education. Prepare students for educational experiences by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks. Advise students regarding educational related issues, such as course and program selection, class scheduling and registration, school adjustment, attendance, study habits and career planning. Evaluate student abilities, interests and personality characteristics using tests, records and personal sources. Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to advising. Prepare reports on students as required by administration. Review transcripts and other data to ensure that students meet requirements. Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities.

Bachelor's degree plus one year of experience.
