Veterinary Residents, under general supervision, trains in the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital under the supervision of board-certified veterinary specialists. Veterinary Residents are expected to examine, diagnose, treat, and manage patients, interact with clients, teach senior veterinary students, and generate income for the teaching hospital. Veterinary Residents train and focus in a specialty veterinary area. The Veterinary Residents residency may last up to 3 years.
