Essential Job Functions | Provide high-touch, holistic retention outreach and support to a cohort of undergraduate students. Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities | Experience working directly with college students Experience mentoring professional staff Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills Proven capability in managing multiple deadlines and complex projects Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a cooperative team environment Experience utilizing Raider Success Hub and Banner Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software. The ideal candidate for this position would display an abilityto: Build rapport with students while providing academic, social, and personal support
Have difficult conversations with students with tact and sound judgment to help them address their personal and academic barriers to success
Understand, communicate and develop approaches for complex issues students experience
