Position Description | The Assistant Athletics Director - Strength & Conditioning is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the strength and conditioning program for the athletic department. This position will ensure all strength, conditioning, and training programs for student-athletes across all sports are in accordance with NCAA and industry standards and are appropriately documented while directly serving as the primary strength coach for one designated team. The role ensures compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations and fosters a culture of excellence, safety, and development for student-athletes. |
Qualifications | Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field, plus a minimum of 6 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate or professional level. Additional related education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Must be certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association |
