Position Description | Plans, performs and supervises complex information technology and information system (IT/IS) audits, investigations, and advisory engagements for Texas Tech University System and its component institutions. Concurrently manages multiple engagements across all component institutions. Work requires extensive interaction with coworkers and clients, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to gather facts, conduct interviews, and interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies with sound judgment. Work requires a high degree of initiative and is performed under limited supervision. Performs varied administrative duties in the coordination of the department, including management and maintenance of applicable audit software. |
Qualifications | Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, or related area, with four years of audit or related experience, two of which are in a supervisory capacity. Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience. CISA or CIA certification with current license. |
