Keynote Speaker: Adam Franks, 7-Eleven, Director of Vault Private Brands and Emerging Brands

Adam Franks

Adam Franks has spent his entire 19 year career in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space.  He has worked at some of the largest CPG companies (Pepsi, Pepperidge Farm, Campbell's, and Oberto) and had a wide range of roles from starting in the field, to managing sales at regional and national accounts, to developing strategy at HQ, to launching completely new businesses.  Two years ago he made the move to the other side of the desk working with the world's largest convenience chain, 7-Eleven, where he is currently the Director of Private Brands and Emerging Brands.  Adam has called on or supported almost every major retailer across all channels of trade.  He is a proud Red Raider, holding a bachelors in Psychology and a masters in Business Administration.

Dan Chambers

Dan Graduated from the UNLV school of Hospitality in December of 2014 and joined White Lodging in January of 2015 as a Housekeeping Manager at the JW Marriott Austin. After over 8 years with the company he is now on his fourth General Manager role, currently at the Westin Austin Downtown. Awards & Accolades include: 2020 Gallup International Manager of the Year Award, 5x Inspiring Followership Award, 2x Living the Vision Award, President's Council Award, and Excalibur Award.

  • Genevieve Durham DeCesaro– Vice Provost for Faculty Success, Texas Tech University


Genevieve Durham DeCesaro is vice provost for Faculty Success and a professor of dance. She joined the Office of the Provost in 2014 after serving as head of dance since 2004 and as associate chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance since 2008. Her choreography has been commissioned and performed across the country, with notable presentations at Virginia Tech, Spelman College, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

  • Kelsey Downey – Talent Acquisition Specialist, Enterprise Rent-a-Car

Kelsey Downey

Kelsey Downey is a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Enterprise Holdings. Kelsey hires for Enterprise's highly regarded Manager in Training (MIT) Program in Central Texas. Her territory covers Cedar Park, Leander, Northwest Austin, Round Rock, Taylor, Killeen, Temple, Waco, and Bryan/College Station. Before devoting her life to hiring excellent talent, Kelsey graduated from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX and worked in the non-profit sector. She decided to pursue her passion in business and joined Enterprise's MIT Program in January of 2019. Kelsey was a successful Branch Manager, who led a team of high-performing and multiple Elite/sales winning staff members. Right before her promotion to Talent Acquisition, her branch in Pflugerville, TX had the second highest customer service score in Central and West Texas. Kelsey's passion is getting people excited about things she's excited about; right now, that's opportunities Enterprise can offer in leadership and management.
