Faculty Workshops




Faculty leaders are required to attend a Faculty Workshop prior to leading students abroad. The Workshop features two components:

  1. The Faculty-Led Program Session guides faculty through the student application, billing, and scholarships processes.
  2. The Emergency Preparedness Session demonstrates how faculty should respond when emergencies arise abroad by providing details on Texas Tech University policies and procedures. Case studies are used to utilize information learned during the session.

Faculty are required to attend a Workshop each year. The content discussed during the fall and spring sessions will be the same, so faculty leaders only need to attend once at whatever time/date works best.
