Elizabeth Massengale has more than 25 years of experience in higher education and is deeply committed to advancing student success and well-being. She is the assistant vice provost for Student Support and Success at Texas Tech University, where she provides strategic leadership for initiatives that promote student support, persistence and holistic development.
In her role, Massengale oversees a broad portfolio of student support services, including Academic Testing Services, Learning Center, Raider Relief – Advocacy & Resource Center, Red to Black, TRiO Student Support Services and the Writing Centers. Her leadership focuses on delivering integrated support that meets students' academic and personal needs.
Throughout her career, Massengale has held a wide range of roles, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of the student experience. Her previous work includes Parent and Family Relations, Student Involvement, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Spirit Programs, and critical intervention efforts such as Students of Concern responses.
Massengale is passionate about cultivating supportive environments that empower students to thrive both academically and personally. Her work is guided by a strong belief in the transformative power of higher education and a commitment to responding to the evolving needs of student populations.
