Parking and Transportation
All campus parking is free on Saturday. In order to use campus parking on Friday, conference guests must register their car with TTU Parking. Registration may also be done over the phone by calling 806.742.7275. Conference parking on Friday is available in parking lots R11 and R13, as located on the below map.

Uber and Lyft
Lubbock has both Uber and Lyft ride options. Please download either company's app to make use of their services.
Rides from the Overton Hotel to the National Ranching Heritage Center or the TTU Student Union Building:
- Uber - $7.50-$14, depending on the size of the vehicle.
- Lyft - $6-$10, depending on the size of the vehicle.
Citibus Public Transportation
Daily or weekly bus passes can be purchased here. The rates are
- $3.50 for a 1 Day Pass
- $14.50 for a Weekly Pass
To use the bus system to go from the Overton Hotel to the National Ranching Heritage Center for the Thursday evening reception, consider Route 44 using The Village at Overton Park stop to the West Hall stop. Then use Route 47 from the West Hall stop to the International Cultural Center stop. Please note there is a .5 mile walk from the International Cultural Center to the National Ranching Heritage Center. Bus services end at 11 p.m. on weekdays.
To use the bus system to go from the Overton Hotel to the Student Union Building where the conference will be held, consider Route 44 using The Village at Overton Park stop to the West Hall stop. Then use Route 41 from the West Hall stop to the Akron Ave & 15th St. stop next to the Student Union Building. Please note the bus ride from West Hall to the SUB will be approximately 20 minutes, while walking the distance should require fewer than 10 minutes.
All buses are accessible to persons with disabilities.
Reception Transportation
On Thursday, a city bus will run a continuous loop approximately every 15 minutes from 6:00 p.m. to the end of the reception between the Overton Hotel and the National Ranching Heritage Center. This service is free of charge to conference attendees. See the image below to know where to catch the bus at the Overton.
