Davis College Ag Fest sets stage for successful fall semester

Davis College Ag Fest 2022

Members of Texas Tech's Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources' Dr. Bill Bennett Student Success Center are set to host their annual Ag Fest at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 1) at the Department of Animal & Food Sciences' Livestock Arena.

Numerous student organizations within Davis College will be represented, as well as an opportunity to speak with college guests and representatives. The program will be accompanied by a live country-and-western band, and hamburger and sausage wrap dinner.

Members of Davis College's administration leadership team scheduled to be on hand include Cindy Akers, Interim Dean; Robert Cox, Interim Associate Dean for Academic and Student Programs; Christy Bratcher, Associate Dean for Research.

In addition, members of Davis College's  Student Success Center will be there, including Shelbey Havens, Assistant Director of Recruitment; Maeley Herring, Program Manager for Student Retention;  Sandra Addo, Program Manager for Diversity & Graduate Student Recruitment; Madi Nall, Administrator for Scholarships; along with Michael Harper and Haley Hudson, Program Managers for Davis College Academic Student Programs.

Also appearing will be Ag Coucil leaders for 2022-2023: Tyler Brimager, president; Cassady Craddock, vice president; James Grein, secretary; and Chloe Krause, treasurer.
