Complaint Process

Complaint Process at the Student Counseling Center

If you are dissatisfied with your therapy experience, you are encouraged to discuss your reactions directly with your therapist, if possible. Understanding your reactions and experiences in therapy can help your therapist adjust the treatment approach to better progress toward your therapy goals.

If you’re unable to resolve complaints directly with your therapist you’re invited to call 1-806-742-3674 to schedule a meeting with the clinical services director or managing director.

Consumer Complaint Process

The Attorney General of Texas collects and maintains records of consumer complaints to protect Texas residents from unlawful business practices. Information on how to submit a consumer complaint may be found on the attorney general’s website:

Know that under Texas law consumer complaints are open to the public and the Attorney General’s office asks that you do not include sensitive or confidential information in your complaint.
