The ultimate goal of the Learning Center is to provide a student with the resources needed to obtain academic independence and success. Through positive interaction and effective communication, a peer tutor is able to create an educational environment that inspires a student to develop autonomous learning strategies.
We provide customized plans for student development and developmental coursework in the key areas of reading, writing, and mathematics to ensure each student achieves college-readiness and success in their selected academic majors and beyond.
Free, peer-led interactive review sessions for Texas Tech's most difficult courses. The review sessions are led by Supplemental Instruction Leaders who have excelled in the course, and regularly interact with faculty to tailor the review sessions.
