Kaitlyn E. Wooton, MS, DVM

Veterinary Anatomy Lecturer

About Me

Kaitlyn Wooton was born and raised in rural central Kentucky and has deep roots in animal agriculture. Her interest in veterinary education flourished in Veterinary School at Lincoln Memorial University where she discovered a knack for translating and delivering information in a widely accessible manner. Prior to joining the faculty here at Texas Tech University's School of Veterinary Medicine, Kaitlyn worked as a mixed animal practitioner at a busy rural practice in southwestern Kentucky. Beyond her primary role in supporting anatomy education, with a particular interest in surgery, Kaitlyn can also be found helping in clinical and professional skills.
