Hi y'all! My name is Kathryn but I go by Katy, and I grew up in Snyder, Texas about 90 miles from Lubbock. I graduated from Texas Tech with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2016. I was an 8th grade math teacher for 7 years before deciding that I needed a break from public education and moved to higher ed. I specifically work with students who are interested in law school and non-degree seeking students. I love being an advisor and helping students with their educational journey. 

 

I have been married to my husband, Tyler, since February 2022. We have one son, Weston, who was born in January of 2025. We also have 3 dogs: Jentri, Olivander (Ollie) and Neville. Yes, our boy dogs are named after Harry Potter! I may or may not love HP a little too much! My hobbies include watching movies and comfort TV shows. I love to travel and go on vacations.
