CASNR's Ambassadors for Agriculture offer new hats in tan, white and gray
By: Norman Martin
Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources is set to dress you for success, or at minimum make it clear that you're easily more identifiable with CASNR. Stephanie Legako, CASNR's Unit Manager for Student Retention, reports that three new colors of their $15 baseball-style caps are available for the fall semester – gray, tan and white. The caps feature highlight a Masked Rider logo. Also, new this year is a new ventilated, gray ($25) version that sports CASNR in block letters with a Double T above.
Legako said the caps are being offered by the Ambassadors for Agriculture as a fundraiser. The new hats – along with previous versions in black and red – may be purchased in the student success center, which is located in the CASNR Dean's Office Suite (Goddard Building). The Ambassadors for Agriculture are dedicated to spreading the story of American agriculture and opportunities for youth in the broad fields of agriculture and natural resources. They're available to speak on motivational and informative topics relating to youth opportunities at banquets, high school assemblies or classes, commencement exercises, agricultural science classes, and other similar types of meetings.
