Whitacre College of Engineering faculty are engaged in cutting edge bioengineering research spanning a broad spectrum of activities that impact human health and understanding of biological systems. Interdisciplinary research is being conducted in the areas of biosensors, bioremediation, biomechanics, biochemistry, biomedical imaging, computational biology, molecular biophysics, Nano biomedicine and healthcare engineering. Engineering and biological principles are used in novel ways to create synergistic solutions that could have far-reaching impact on society and human health.
