| Position Description |
The Fire and Life Safety Specialist performs technical and field-based fire prevention and life safety duties in support of the fire prevention program. This position is responsible for conducting routine fire and life-safety inspections to ensure compliance with adopted fire codes, life-safety standards, and local ordinances. |
| Qualifications |
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as TCFP Basic Fire Inspector or (NFPA equivalent) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire. Knowledge of NFPA standards, International Fire Code, and fire protection systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Valid driver's license and ability to travel across campus. |
