| Position Description |
This paraprofessional position holds responsibilities that may involve supervision of a work unit and/or the undertaking of specialized work requiring a high level of expertise, such as cataloging or processing of manuscript collections. Independent judgment and a comprehensive knowledge of tasks are used to accomplish the mission of the unit. Work is performed under general supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Evaluation is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained. |
| Qualifications |
Bachelors' degree in related field and one year related experience; knowledge and competencies of Microsoft Office. Relevant specialized work experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis. Additional job related education may substitute for required experience on a year for year basis. Ability to learn and work with computer applications unique to libraries or archives. |
